First Aid

Somerset Army Cadet Force offers a great deal in regards to First Aid training, not only is it a part of the APC Syllabus, but the qualification gained can be used in every day life or employment (FAW only). With our special relationship with St John Ambulance, we offer `in house` training both for adults and cadets.

Currently the following courses can be offered :

CADETS

APC Star level

  • HEARTSTART (inc Cassaid) 1 star (1 day)

    •
  • YOUNG LIFESAVER PLUS (YLSP) 2 star (2 day)

    •
  • LIFESAVER 3 star (1 day)

    •
  • PLUS 4 star (1 day)

    • ADULTS & SENIOR CADETS

  • LIFESAVER PLUS (LSP) optional for senior cadets (2 day)
  • FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW) (4 day)

    •
  • FAW Re-qualification (2 day)
