Members of the Somerset Army Cadet Force have the opportunity
of obtaining a high level qualification with the BTEC
First Diploma in Public Services, which is the equivalent
of four GCSEs at Grades A* to C.

ADULT QUALIFICATIONS - LCGI
The Licentiateship of the City & Guilds of London
Institute, is an NVQ Level 4 Award, which is attainable
by those adults by virtue of, usually, the accreditation
of their prior learning .
Somerset ACF was responsible for having this Award introduced,
and it is available to all adults who are over 25 years
of age.
There is a (once only) fee to be paid (about £90),
and this very high grade Award carries with it the post-nominal
letters LCGI, and those awarded are entitled to wear the
Cap and Gown of the Institute.
Irrespective of what your current employment is, this
Award will enhance your job prospects immensely.
